ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
- Technology rule the world and women shape the world and hence the technological women can bring out the world with colors through her explosive inkling with this motto TMHNU has started the BCA course in the year 1999 and MCA course in the year 2002 in NSCAS to cultivate the technological women from the Rural area. Our department aims to make a place both at national and international level by producing high quality ethically rich computer application graduates with the ability to adopt the upcoming challenges in information technologies and their applications.To inculcate the definition of the students, our department provides 360o training and motivation to them. In this regard, our department has organized 5 conferences through which the research skill is developed, 21 International/National level seminars and 32 guest lectures, 19 workshops in hands with IIT, Arena Animation etc., to gain the knowledge of the recent topics to cope up the technological world and their technical skill.In Every year Day celebration is organized on 10th December and later “International Security Day” on November 30. Industrial Visit for the students are also arranged every year to bring the real scenario of the work place to the students. The best places visited by the students are Microsoft in Bangalore and ISRO and Tech Park in Trivandrum. Tech-Comm association is formed in the year 1999 to bring out the technical skills from the students by conducting main competitions like paper presentation, Quiz, slogan writing, logo creation, Short film making, web design etc., Soft skills training also given to the students so that 20 students got placement in many MNCs like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Alcance technologies and many reputed educational institutions.
